Chip Conrad’s Thoughts On Push Ups For Lifting & Life

As you’ll learn our upcoming Ninja Mobility Clinic, BodyTribe founder Chip Conrad takes a very holistic and broad-based approach to human movement (aka, making you strong and awesome).

In this video he goes over a number of push up variations you can use as a part of your warm up and/or workouts to further your own ninja training.

By the way… the music he uses near the beginning of this video is mine (roughly 30 sec’s in). 

Chip and I were both Artists long before we were anything else (that’s true of so many members of the Weightlifting Academy tribe). And that influences greatly our approach toward what it means to use physicality as a component of the larger whole of your life.

Chip brings into lifting a kind of spirituality that is often sorely missing.  I’ve said before that, “Learning how to snatch makes you a better person… if you do it right.” It’s the last part that is the make-or-break(er).

One of the main things that a coach like Chip Conrad brings to the table is a serious attention to the details that show you HOW to “do it right”.
